Ranks & Prestige

Ranks are bought with coins using /rankup. Each rank shows as a badge next to your name in chat and the tab list, and unlocks new perks, bigger claims and more shop space.

New players start as a Wanderer. The first rank up costs 500 coins, and each rank after that costs more. The full ladder costs around 80,000 coins.

Once you reach Grimborn, you can prestige. There are ten prestige levels (I to X). Prestiging resets your rank to Wanderer so you can climb the ladder again, but you keep:

  • every rank perk (/showcase through /nick)
  • the Grimborn land-claim limits (4 claims, 96×96)
  • the Grimborn market unlocks (3 shops, 3 rows)

Prestige also adds:

  • A bigger Stronghold. Your first claim (your Stronghold) can grow by +16 blocks per side for every prestige level, from 112×112 at Prestige I up to 256×256 at Prestige X. See Land Claims.
  • More waystones. +1 waystone at Prestige II, IV, VI and VIII, for a maximum of 5. See Waystones.
  • A prestige icon shown on your rank badge, from bronze at I to Hollow red at X.

There are three donor ranks: $, $$ and $$$. They unlock perks early, plus some cosmetics only donors get. They never give combat power. See Rank Perks.
